Exciting News!

Before I tell you more about the upcoming Back To School Sale, I wanted to let you know about the NEW Owner of the Just Between Friends Lynnwood Sale - Erin Christensen

Erin is a local mom and former teacher, who was born and raised in Edmonds and is passionate about serving families in her community. She has been married to her husband, Brian, for 16 years and has four amazing kids.  After working with Just Between Friends for the past five years, Erin is excited to step into her new role as owner of the local pop-up consignment sale. She loves bringing families together through consignment, helping parents save money while supporting sustainability and the local community.

At the end of each sale, unsold donations are shared with local charity partners, creating a cycle of giving that strengthens the entire community and that is something Erin is very proud of as the owner of Just Between Friends Lynnwood.

The Just Between Friends Lynnwood Sale is almost here!

If you haven’t heard about Just Between Friends yet, I’m here to tell you all about it. As a shopper for the last seven years, a worker for the past year and a half, and a consignor for the last year at the Lynnwood/Mill Creek sale, I’ve gained quite a bit of knowledge about the event.

What is Just Between Friends (commonly called JBF)?

Just Between Friends (JBF) is a children’s (ages 0–18) pop-up consignment sale featuring new and gently used children’s items. Shoppers can save 50–90% off retail prices.

Where do the items come from?

Each seller prices, tags, and brings their items to the sale. After the event, they earn cash back (up to 60% of the selling price) on the items that sell. Many sellers also choose to donate any unsold items to local charities.

What can be found at the sale?

The sale focuses on all things kid-related, including:

  • Clothing (sizes 0–18)
  • Sports equipment
  • Shoes
  • Bikes
  • Outdoor toys
  • Toys, books, and games
  • Strollers
  • Baby feeding items
  • Car seats
  • Arts and crafts supplies
  • And much more

These are my own words and thoughts (with a little help from Chat GPT) about the Just Between Friends Lynnwood/Mill Creek Sale.  As a shopper, consigner, and employee I love everything about the sale and want other families to know about it too!

Why do I Keep Shopping?

I absolutely love a good deal—especially when my daughter was younger and quickly growing out of her clothes. Now she’s more interested in crafty items, accessories, and games, but I still enjoy finding great bargains.

I also love knowing that my purchases help other local families earn income to support their growing families.

Why do I Keep Working the Sale?

Helping families find items they need brings me a lot of joy.

I also enjoy seeing my co-workers twice a year and catching up on how their families are doing. And of course, the income helps support my own family while allowing me to work outside the home for a short period of time.

Why do I Keep Consigning at the Sale?

Consigning helps me clear out items my daughter no longer needs while also earning money for her future needs.

I also love supporting local charities (chosen by JBF Lynnwood/Mill Creek) by donating some of my unsold items.

Don’t Miss this Sale!
